Meanwhile, the Southern Hemisphere has also witnessed a concerning increase in COVID-19 cases, emphasizing the need for continued vigilance worldwide.
To combat the surge, WHO recommends several measures including vaccination, mask-wearing, and proper ventilation in indoor areas. Despite the challenges, vaccines have shown promising results in significantly reducing the risk of hospitalization and death.
