Former President Barack Obama paid a visit to current President Joe Biden at the White House last Friday for a working session, where the two leaders participated in an organizing call for the upcoming 14th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act.
During the meeting, Obama expressed his belief that the 2024 election will be crucial and stated that he plans to assist in Biden’s campaign efforts. The former president has been actively supporting Biden through fundraising appeals and campaign appearances, helping the campaign raise over $15 million so far, largely through grassroots efforts featuring Obama himself.
In the coming months, Obama and Biden are set to make an appearance at a star-studded fundraiser in Manhattan with former President Bill Clinton. Obama plans to focus on motivating young Black and Latino voters, with a specific emphasis on issues such as Israel’s war in Gaza and reproductive rights. He is also slated to hit the campaign trail in the fall to rally support for Biden’s re-election bid.
Obama has made it clear that he is committed to helping Biden secure a second term at the White House, emphasizing the importance of the upcoming election. With his vast experience and influence within the Democratic Party, Obama’s support could prove to be a significant asset for Biden as he seeks another term in office.
