Country Music Star Craig Morgan Enlists in Army Reserve at Age 59
In a surprising turn of events, renowned country musician Craig Morgan has re-enlisted in the Army Reserve at the age of 59. Making the announcement at the iconic Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, Morgan expressed his excitement to serve his country once again and inspire others to do the same.
The oath of service was administered by Gen. Andrew Poppas, commander of Army Forces Command, in front of a supportive audience. Morgan’s decision to re-enlist comes after his previous 17-year service in the Army as a fire support specialist, including time spent in the prestigious 82nd Airborne Division and 101st Airborne Division.
