Actor Jonathan Majors is facing a lawsuit from his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, for alleged assault, battery, and defamation. The incidents in question reportedly took place between 2021 and 2023 in various locations including New York, Los Angeles, and London.
According to the lawsuit, Majors was accused of being physically violent towards Jabbari, with one disturbing incident in London where he allegedly slammed her head against a marble floor and strangled her. Jabbari also claims that Majors prevented her from seeking medical attention for a head injury sustained during the London incident and even threatened suicide if she did so.
In response to the lawsuit, Majors’ lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, has announced that the actor is preparing counterclaims against Jabbari. Additionally, Majors was recently found guilty in a New York criminal court of assault and harassment against Jabbari, with a sentencing date set for April 8.
Following the guilty verdict, Marvel and Disney have decided to part ways with Majors, who was set to star in an upcoming film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise. This decision comes amidst allegations from two other ex-girlfriends, Emma Duncan and Maura Hooper, who have also accused Majors of abuse.
Furthermore, there have been accusations of physical, mental, and emotional abuse against Majors during his time as a student at Yale University, which his attorney has denied. The ongoing legal battle between Majors and Jabbari continues to unfold, with the actor’s career in jeopardy as a result of these serious allegations.
