Swerd Media is proud to showcase its latest architectural project, the remarkable House in Los Cocos, located in Mérida, Mexico. This innovative design takes into account the narrow proportion of the land, creating a vanishing point effect upon entering.
The House in Los Cocos is a series of fragmented pavilions, inspired by pre-Hispanic architecture, elegantly organized around a body of water and a stunning swimming pool. The central living pavilion, which floats above a beautifully landscaped garden, harmoniously blends the interior with the exterior, creating a seamless connection.
What sets this project apart is its unique embrace of negative empty space, which places equal importance on both the built spaces and the open areas. This concept creates a visually striking contrast between open and closed, defining the boundary between public and private spaces within the house.
