Swerd Media- Exciting Space Launches Set for March 21
On Thursday, March 21, a Russian Soyuz rocket is scheduled to launch three individuals towards the International Space Station (ISS), including NASA astronaut Tracy C. Dyson. The launch of the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft will occur at 9:21 a.m. EDT from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
Viewers can tune in to watch the live coverage of the launch on Space.com or directly via NASA’s website, with coverage starting at 8:20 a.m. EDT. The crew on board the spacecraft consists of NASA’s Tracy C. Dyson, Roscosmos cosmonaut Oleg Novitskiy, and spaceflight participant Marina Vasilevskaya of Belarus.
The trio is expected to reach the ISS just three hours after launch, arriving at 12:39 p.m. EDT. Live coverage of the orbital rendezvous will be available on Space.com starting at 11:30 a.m. EDT, with the hatches between the Soyuz and the ISS set to open at 2:50 p.m. EDT.
Dyson will spend six months conducting research and experiments aboard the ISS, while Novitskiy and Vasilevskaya will return in just 12 days. Following this mission, SpaceX is also scheduled to launch a robotic cargo mission to the ISS at 4:55 p.m. EDT on the same day, further adding to the excitement of space exploration.
